Please call or email us at info@practicemanagementsolutions.com.au for further information.
For all the Mac users that have been patiently waiting on upgrading to El Capitan (from Maverick/Yosemite), you can now do so to Version OSX 10.11. Please note that V5.1 Build 7.0 is compatible with El Capitan only. It is not for use on any earlier OS version such as 10.10 Yosemite or 10.9 Maverick.
Here at PMSS, we strongly encourage our MacPractice user community to engage with us for any major upgrade. As part of this engagement we would take a back up of your database and test upgrade it prior to installing on your server. This can help to anticipate any potential problems and provide fixes, plus we can give you an indication of upgrade timings. We recommend doing any upgrades on a Friday night so we can as a minimum monitor the install, and the MacPractice tech support team are available if required. In any event, please drop us a quick email if you are planning on doing any minor or major upgrades on your system.
Have a great week!

The recommendation is to plan for this upgrade carefully and if upgrading from 4.x it is essential that you allow time and inform us of the intention to upgrade as a minimum. The V4 to V5 upgrade is a major upgrade and has taken up to 22 hours to complete with an average time of 8 hours. Should you be upgrading your Mac OS to El Capitan as well, this will require a little more time to complete.
We are also pleased to tell you that we are now in month 3 of operation, and send many thanks to all who have reached out for help or just a simple hello! PMSS have been working hard to ensure we can meet your needs as a one stop shop to run your practice IT and software needs. We are now in a position to offer you hardware purchases and installation, ongoing IT support and we are working on an exciting cloud based backups project (stay tuned for this!).
Have a great weekend!
